Online Service Level Management Analysis Tool Available At No Cost—Except Your Email

A powerful new tool for identifying 75 service level management solutions in the marketplace today is available for online comparison through Enterprise Management Associates.

The company bills itself as a leading provider of enterprise management analyst services, consulting, and research, has released SLM Solutions: An Online Buyer's Guide, available at www.emausa.com/slm/ register.php?ls=guidepr0106.

This powerful tool can help smaller firms reduce the time needed to identify and choose products to improve service capabilities.  The only caveat, a user must provide company information and a contact number.

Wealth of Information

The guide gives users a single repository of information on the service level management solutions in the marketplace today, along with best practices for implementing SLM initiatives. A powerful search engine allows users to find the SLM solutions right for their needs. A compare function allows users to see their chosen solutions side-by-side, feature-by-feature. Users can then drill down into specific solutions to get detailed information and EMA's expert, vendor-neutral analysis of its strengths and weaknesses.

SLM Solutions: An Online Buyer's Guide lists the top seventy-five SLM vendors and their SLM products and services. Once users have narrowed down the possible solutions, they can do side-by-side comparisons of their selected solutions.

The guide also contains a wealth of information and best practices for SLM. There is an excellent introduction to SLM starting with a basic definition, its history, common drivers and barriers and a brief synopsis of the current market landscape and trends. This is followed by a definition of terms such as service level objectives, service level agreements, service level indicators and other concepts important to SLM. EMA shares its basic methodology for selecting the correct tools, including very helpful tips on making a business case for service level management.

Service Level Needs Growing

"The online buyer's guide is the latest evolution of our commitment to providing the vendors and users of service level management a common forum to exchange information. Going online allows us to provide IT professionals a single source for information on service level management solutions. It is part of our overall mission to help IT organizations improve their service levels and align IT with the business," said Rick Sturm, CEO of Enterprise Management Associates. SLM Solutions: An Online Buyer's Guide is free to use, requiring only a registration. To check out the guide visit (www.emausa.com/slm/register.php?ls=guidepr0106).

"EMA's online buyer's guide gives Keynote an important forum for reaching out to the IT community," said Tony Simpson, Director of Corporate Marketing for Keynote. "Users can find us through the guide, dive into our solution through the recorded presentation, and get into contact with us if they like what they see. This allows us to really differentiate from the other solutions in the marketplace."

"EMA has provided thought leadership for Service Level Management for years," commented Uwe Aicheler, ITSM Program Manager for Hewlett Packard, "EMA's insight into the needs of consumers has been very helpful to us in shaping our product direction. The buyer's guide will be a catalyst for further interaction with the organizations we are supporting via our solutions.
